How We Recruit
As your security provide, MGP is responsible for every aspect of the security function : hiring, screening, placing and managing personnel, as well as ensuring security coverage and accountability. We verifies previous educational background, work history, employment references, criminal records, driver’s license validity and ensures that applicable licensing procedures are met. it also verifies that all screening checks have been completed, and confrims taht the results exceed a defined standard.
Our background screening process is selective and vigilant. We are dedicated to recruiting and retainig individuals with characteristics of trustworthiness, motivation and reliability. All prospective employees are screened for alcohol and illegal drugs as a prerequisite for employment, and clients can also request drug screening on an annual or random basis. All candidates are interviewed in person by local office personel to determine their suitability for a position.
We alse develop site-specific hiring profiles based on our client’s needs, which can be determined by everyting from geographical location to a facility’s layout and design to the complexity of the duties required for the job.
Training
Before being given an assignment, all of security officers must attend a training program. Training is provided to officers through the MGP training center, provided for both new officers and new supervisor, and all of our training programs meet or exceed state-mandated training requirements. Officers are also given ongoing training which reduces turn over, improves productivity and morale, and help minimize liabilityexposure.
On-the-Job Training Program
Whether they are new or have been given a new assignment at another location, officers go through an On-the-Job-Training-Program that includes site orientation, site-specific function and duties, emergency procedures and public relation.
Continuing Education
Officers are encouraged to improve their educatoon via numerous advance training materials that will add their knowledge with the latest update on security service industry.
